Safety
At ConSet, safety is a core part of our product development and manufacturing process. Our electric height-adjustable desks are built to meet stringent safety and performance standards in all the markets we operate in—including Australia.
Global Compliance
While CE marking is a European standard, it reflects a rigorous level of safety, durability, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). ConSet desks are developed in line with the requirements of international directives such as the Machinery Directive, Low Voltage Directive, and EMC Directive, ensuring reliable and safe performance globally.
For added assurance, ConSet collaborates with external testing authorities like the Danish Technological Institute to help verify compliance through structured risk assessments and technical evaluations.
Safety in Everyday Use
ConSet desks are built with safety in mind. Models intended for homes, schools, or nurseries feature intuitive two-button control panels to prevent accidental use by children. All ConSet user panels are designed with a 'hold-to-run' function—a deliberate choice that prioritises user safety by requiring continuous contact during height adjustment.
Commitment to Ongoing Compliance
At ConSet, safety isn’t just about compliance—it’s a core value. We continuously monitor regulations in all markets where our products are sold, from Denmark to Australia, to ensure our desks not only meet local standards but exceed expectations.
Additional Testing & Standards
Beyond CE compliance, ConSet desks are developed with attention to a wide range of international furniture standards.
